Licinsì

Literally licenzino, a private home authorized by a small license to the public service of drinks and food “cold”. Until a few years ago very common in the valleys and hills Brescia, the licinsì were places of social living: just outside the village, in the rural villages, in the mountains, along the main roads passing through or over bumps scenic farms could meet with a room converted into popular hangout. A dimension secluded, almost out of time, where consume frugally snacks and refreshments, play cards and morra, celebrating stolen hours the daily struggles between conversations that melted in vivid tales, stories of bizarre characters, singing and dancing in joy at the sound of accordions and mandolins.
